This hard plastic box was originally intended for storing so-called decontamination wipes and was used by U.S. Soldiers carried on the LC-1 belt carrier.
The Army Decon Box is ideal for geocacher hideouts or to store small items for household, camping, shooting, fishing, and other things.
The box has a snap-on lid and is relatively waterproof.
The lid is held in place by a short nylon strap with a metal clip.
